The cold weather has finally hit here in Adelaide and it’s been miserable!

But there are some things to enjoy about winter… What I do love is that there are so many products out there that will have you looking and feeling fabulous. This week I’ve captured some of my favourites for you, so you can embrace winter in the same way that I do.

So here they are: my winter staples for 2014.

With a plethora of products out there, it can sometimes be confusing and overwhelming working out what’s best for you. Don’t forget to target your concerns first, so walk in with a direct idea of what you are looking for. Also do your research! Read all about the products online first.

My Pick: Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream: This product contains beech tree extract, hyaluronic acid and jasmonic acid. It lifts, firms, sculpts and smooths. The Kiehl’s range is world-renowned for their incredible range of products.

DavroeMy Pick:
Davroe Haircare Moisture Senses shampoo and conditioner. With the aroma of jasmine and musk, these products offer a moisture-rich formula which is great for curls and eliminating frizz. They’re also paraben, sulphate and petrochemical free. They have a range to target all issues with your hair and they smell divine.

NiveaMy Pick: Nivea Bodycare – Nivea’s range has had quite the makeover. The Pure and Natural range is inexpensive and  gorgeous to use. The products are formulated with 95 per cent of their ingredients from natural origins – including argan oil – for intensive moisture that lasts all day. I’ve used this range myself and, trust me, they not only work and feel wonderful, but they’re also light on the pocket.

MusqMy Pick: Musq Cosmetics – Musq is a 100 per cent Australian company that produces natural mineral makeup. With a beautiful selection of colours, these are the perfect products to use when your skin is suffering from signature winter dryness. Check out their mineral eye-shadows – the colours are gorgeous and the pigment strong!

So keep your eye out for your own concerns over winter and seek out the products targeted at your particular issues. Don’t forget to do your research and ensure the products are actually doing what they say they will do.
